A trademark created for Visible Music College by Tactical Magic received the Silver ADDY award for logo design at the 2012 American Advertising Federation (AAF) National Conference in Austin Texas. According to the AAF, the ADDY Awards receive over 60,000 entries annually and “are the world's largest and arguably toughest advertising competition.”

Entries must first pass muster on the local level (Memphis’ ADDY Awards were held in February), and then again at the district level, before qualifying to be evaluated at the national level.

Tactical Magic is the only entrant from Memphis to be honored at the highest level this year. In fact, this event marks the seventh National ADDY award earned by the brand identity specialist firm in as many years, and adds to their long list of significant national and international accolades.

Created to punctuate the institution’s move to its new downtown location (200 Madison Avenue, Memphis) and its new name (formerly Visible School of Music), the new Visible Music College logo was made public in July 2011. The trademark uses a guitar pick in place of the traditional college shield, in keeping with the school’s faith-based rock and roll personality.
