Tactical Magic founder and managing partner, Trace Hallowell was recently elected to serve a two-year term on the American Advertising Federation (AAF) Memphis chapter board of directors. Installation ceremonies were conducted at the University of Memphis Holiday Inn in June 25.
Called the “unifying voice for advertising,” the AAF is the nation’s oldest and largest professional association for the advertising and marketing communications industry. AAF Memphis, the local chapter, has a legacy of standing out among chapters across the country, receiving honors for distinctive achievements in the areas of government relations, programs and diversity initiatives, among other issues.
Hallowell is slated to chair a new branding program for AAF Memphis. "I'm excited to have Trace on the Board of Ad Fed in charge of Brand Strategy. He brings a wealth of talent to our group and we know he will help us elevate awareness of our organization to the marketing communications professionals in this market,” says AAF Memphis president Susan Ewing.
A veteran of the advertising business, Hallowell founded Tactical Magic eight years ago. In his twenty-year service in this market, he has helped build brand identities and branding campaigns for clients like First Tennessee, Seabrook, Thomas & Betts, the Memphis Redbirds, Meritan, Fulmer Helmets and the Eyewear Gallery.
