(Memphis, TN) The Fulmer Helmets “Flying F” logo has been selected as one of the world's best by Graphis, the highly- respected international journal of visual communication. Designed by local creative agency, Tactical Magic, the logo was chosen to be included in a hardcover book representing the finest logos in the world. This same logo received the Judges Special Award for best logo at the Memphis Addys earlier this year. The book, Graphis Logo 6, is available for order at https://store.graphis.com/.
“The design objective was to create a simple, compelling identity,” says creative director, Trace Hallowell. “This logo needed to appeal to Fulmer’s customers- a broad cross-section of motor sports enthusiasts. Given that, we aimed for a design that combined classic style with a fresh look.” Hallowell worked with designer Ben Johnson to create the award-winning logo.
The client, Memphis-based Fulmer Helmets, is one of North America’s most popular motorcycle, ATV and snowmobile helmet brands. Celebrating its 35th year in business, Fulmer is pleased that their creative efforts are gaining recognition. “We’re ecstatic about the award, and even more pleased with the response from our customers,” says Scott Holbrooks, vice president of Fulmer Helmets. “We’ve had excellent response to this logo on our helmets and packaging.”
