Health care campaigns, work by Mid-South businesses are big winners

Running Pony Productions, Tactical Magic and Memphis’ health care industry were the big winners Friday at this year’s Vox awards honoring public relations work in the Mid-South.
The event, held at the Memphis Hilton and hosted for the 14th consecutive year by the Memphis chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, recognizes outstanding work by public relations professionals from all business sectors in the Memphis area, including agencies, corporations, government and nonprofit organizations.
Tactical Magic, a fi ve-man creative firm, received the Silver Vox for best overall campaign for its “Memphis Car Audio Trade Show” campaign. “We always receive great entries and this year was no exception,” said Brandi Meeks, PRSA Vox chair.
“We saw more entries this year that show how companies are using sophisticated technology to market their products and services.”
With more than 29,000 members, including about 175 in the Memphis area, the New York-based PRSA is the largest organization for public relations professionals in the world.
