AAF Memphis, the local chapter of the American Advertising Federation, presented the prestigious Best of Brand Identity award to Tactical Magic for the trademark they designed for Uniform Masters during award ceremonies last Saturday night.
Uniform Masters also received two gold Addy awards, for business card design and logo design, and one silver Addy for its integrated multimedia campaign.
Trace Hallowell, Tactical Magic’s managing partner and creative director, said his firm is particularly honored to receive the recognition. “We are really proud of the work we’ve done with the folks at Uniform Masters. And we’re grateful for the recognition in this difficult and highly competitive category.”
Also on hand for the festivities was Robert Caen, vice president and grandson of the founder of Uniform Masters. “This logo stands for a change in the way we think about ourselves and how we want others to think about us. We already see a positive business impact from our revitalized branding and marketing. But I have to say, it also feels pretty good to receive this level of critical acclaim,’’ said Caen.
"Suppliers and especially manufacturers have market power because they have information about a product or a service that the customer does not and cannot have, and does not need if he can trust the brand. This explains the profitability of brands."
