Design Director, Partner Ben was one of the first employees of Tactical Magic and is now a key partner. Born and raised in Canada, Johnson brings a fresh perspective, as well as an exacting eye, to the work. Already, his work has been recognized three times by Graphis for international excellence in logo design and advertising. Ben is a runner, a collector of root beer bottles and an unabashed Volkswagen aficionado (owning a ’69 white Beetle). He is also just months away from completing his MBA classwork. President and founder of the Memphis chapter of AIGA, the professional association for design, Ben also has gained experience building brands like Anderson Tully, First Tennessee, Memphis Chamber of Commerce, Memphis Redbirds, Storage USA, Thomas & Betts and WONDERS – The Memphis Cultural Series.
